Our well-thought-out and carefully designed Special Needs Perch has been created with all special needs parrots in mind—especially elderly birds, birds with cleft feet, and those with broken wings—allowing them to rest confidently without the worry of falling off.
Our well-crafted perches are one of a kind. Each one is made from split Manzanita wood, providing a safe and stable platform to perch on. By exposing the exotic interior grain of the Manzanita, each perch showcases both its natural beauty and exceptional durability. Known as the eighth hardest wood on earth, Manzanita resists chewing, so you can feel confident that parrots resting here won’t destroy the edges.
Each perch is handcrafted with contoured, soft, smooth edges, allowing any parrot to comfortably rest their feet over the side while staying secure and stable in the center of the platform.
We designed our perches to help any special needs parrot rest comfortably. They stand just 3½ inches above the white oak base—so if a bird does happen to fall, it won’t fall far or risk injury.

Our 3" wall-trimmed perch creates a safe arena for parrots to play with their toys. We’ve also included a 10 oz. stainless steel treat bowl, which complements the stainless-steel safety handles—making it easy for anyone to carry this portable perch from room to room.
